It also provides functionality for the Google Play Store to be installed, which means that pretty much any app from the store can be installed. This includes a frontlight, speakers, a microphone, an accelerometer/g-sensor and USB-C. It has an impressive range of hardware features as standard that aren’t included on e-ink tablets by other manufacturers. There is also an onboard graphics processor which takes advantage of Boox’s new Super Refresh technology – this makes screen refresh rates much smoother and more customizable on newer Boox devices than other e-ink tablets. The Tab X has top-of-the-range hardware specs, with an octa-core processor, 6Gb Ram and a massive 128Gb of storage capacity.

Of course, the downside of a large screen is that it has a larger footprint and is heavier, so it is not as portable as smaller devices. I also find that it keeps my handwriting and layout neater because I am not so restricted in space.
